Memphis Wedding Photography Cinema | Amanda & Ray
In January 2016, Amanda and Ray both separately signed up for a mission trip to Nicaragua through different church groups. Although theirs homes where less than 10 minutes from each other, they first met at a worksite, 2600 miles away. Once they returned to the States, they metup again and their personalities blended seamlessly. Over the next 6 years they matured both individually and as a couple meeting each life’s highs and lows.
After much contemplation, Ray decided it was time to propose in 2022. While out shopping he stumbled upon the perfect ring. As he had already been saving up, he was able to buy the ring and keep it a secret from Amanda.
On August 12, 2022, Ray brought Amanda to what she believed to be Ray’s grandparents’ anniversary celebration. However, they were secretly preparing for her engagement party.
She initially thought that Ray had taken over the anniversary party and almost declined his proposal! Fortunately, she still said yes!
